Hi, I’m Jill. I love helping people feel better about themselves, and I think it’s one of the most important parts of my job. I always wanted to make skincare my career because of that, but it wasn’t until recently that I was able to actually fulfill that desire. I am so happy with my life now that I have followed my dream because it’s so rewarding to make a difference in someone’s life! That’s when I know I’m doing what I was meant to do.
I graduated from the Esthetics division of the Omaha School of Massage Therapy. I graduated at the top of my class and also received the Student of the Year award – 2 accomplishments that I am very proud of because I took my schooling very seriously.
I believe that Skincare and Esthetics are not just taking care of your skin but also taking care of your mind, body, and soul. It’s a good time to let go and escape from the stresses of everyday living. When you take time to renew and refresh yourself, you feel better, and everyone around you feels that positive energy. It’s all about feeling good about YOU and enjoying life to the best of your abilities.
I am so happy to be at Kimberly Spa. We have all the latest technology and equipment that an esthetician needs plus outstanding product lines. Kimberly gives us the resources and training that are on the leading edge of Esthetics. I am very blessed and excited to have been chosen to work here, and I’m really looking forward to sharing that excitement with my clients!
Hi, I’m Claire. You should love the skin you’re in, and I love my job because I get to help people love and feel comfortable in their skin. I first became interested in esthetics in high school when I worked in a tanning salon. I quickly learned tanning is horrible for you unless you Spray/Air-Brush tan; however, this job introduced me to skin care. While working there, my fellow cheerleaders would come over every Friday before the game so I could do their make-up which created a passion and drive for wanting to share those talents.
After spending a year at UNK studying marketing (interesting, but not fulfilling), I decided to pursue my love for skin at Capitol School of Esthetics where I graduated top of my class. I was also the first to graduate. I have attended International Esthetic Conferences, and I volunteer at fashion shows, pageants, and haunted houses doing make-up. I love to keep active in the community, and I LOVE keeping up on all of the latest skin care trends.
I feel so blessed to be a member of the Kimberly Spa family and to be working with such a talented team. I hope to see you soon!
Hey, Spa-Goers! My name is Michelle, and I am so excited to be here at Kimberly Spa. I have been an Esthetician for over 2 years, and I LOVE what I do. I began my career search in Cosmetology school where we learned a small tid-bit about skin care. Just that little nugget of information was all it took to spark my true passion, so I began my training in Esthetics school – and boy am I glad I did. I graduated from the College of Hair Design in Lincoln for Esthetics in 2011 with a certificate in Advanced Waxing Techniques.
I grew up in Norfolk, NE, on a farm where I quickly learned the meaning of hard work. I am very energetic; my friends describe me as a ‘bubbly’ person. My favorite hobbies are dancing (seriously…have you seen our latest videos?) and shopping (for shoes, of course). I am thrilled to be a part of the Kimberly Spa team. It is an award-winning day spa that ANY Esthetician would be proud to call home! I am looking forward to meeting all of you and sharing the Kimberly Spa experience.
Our Massage Therapists
Hello, I’m RaeBecca, and I am a licensed massage therapist at Kimberly Spa. I am a graduate of the Omaha School of Massage and Healthcare of Herzing University, and I am certified in deep tissue and sports therapy massage. I am continuously working to expand my knowledge and technique.
I absolutely love providing relaxation and relief through massage therapy, and I encourage regular (monthly!) massages for all my clients. Massages are not only for stress and pain relief; they are important for preventive care and regular maintenance for the body.
I’ve always been interested in helping people, so I turned to massage therapy. To me, if I can relieve someone’s pain, I am positively affecting the lives of my clients.
I look forward to meeting you so we can discuss what benefits you will receive from a massage!
Hi there, I’m Lorenzo! I have always enjoyed helping people ever since I was a small child. I joined the Marine Corps when I was 17 to fulfill a sense of duty and to see the world. During my time of service, I was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan where I served as a Computer/Radio Tech and a Machine Gunner. I also visited Germany and Spain for a bit during my service where I rediscovered my love for food. Traveling is very important to me and I feel that my time in the Marines reinforced that. After leaving the military, I spent 6 months traveling from state to state visiting old friends. Eventually I ended up in Shaker Heights, Ohio, where I gained an interest in becoming a massage therapist.
I graduated from the Myotherapy Institute for Massage Therapy in Lincoln, Nebraska, in August 2012, and I then moved to Omaha to attend Culinary School one month later. My love for cooking came from my mother. My fondest memories of my childhood were in the kitchen helping her cook and bake. Having a small child of my own, I decided that cooking was something I would like to pass on to her.
My desire to travel was reinforced when I did a study abroad to Tokyo, Japan, and Bangkok, Thailand, for culinary school. While I was in Thailand, I learned some very useful Thai massage techniques that I still use today. I am very excited about my career in Massage Therapy at Kimberly Spa!
Our Nail Technicians
Hi, I’m Mickala, and I am so excited to be a part of Kimberly Spa! I grew up in Omaha, and graduated from Ralston High School. I have been a nail technician for two years now. My journey began when I attended Capitol School of Hairstyling and Esthetics’ Cosmetology Program. It was in our manicure and pedicure class that I truly found what I love to do.
I absolutely love everything about nail care and styling! All the nail polish colors and nail art options create so many fun and unique opportunities. But the most important part of my job is making my clients look and feel better about themselves. It’s a very special thing when someone can do that for you. It’s amazing how a manicure can quickly change how a person’s day goes!
Our Makeup Artists
Hi! I’m Emma, and I am one of the makeup artists at Kimberly Spa. I have always loved making people feel beautiful! It started in high school doing prom hair and makeup for my friends. I soon moved onto Capitol School of Hairstyling’s Cosmetology Program in 2011. I was one of the first members of a select group of students, called Capitol Elite, during my journey through beauty school.
I am always looking for new techniques and styles to add to my repertoire. Staying up to date on the newest makeup trends is very important to me, because I want to make sure I am providing the most up-to-date information to my clients. I enjoy teaching makeup techniques and giving my clients new tips and tricks to use at home. I love doing makeup for events such as weddings, prom, homecoming, or a special night out.
I couldn’t be more excited to be a member of such a great team here at Kimberly Spa, and look forward to helping you with all your makeup needs!
